Operation Snowcap

Invite Only Event

During Operation Cyclone a deliberate attempt was made to target several key members of the Wildlands Raiders. Targets code-named BROADSWORD and CLEAVER managed to evade capture however the senior-most member SCEPTER was regrettably killed during an attempt to take him into custody.

While the objective of Operation Cyclone was to remove these of these main figures and was considered an overall failure, the removal of SCEPTER has created a power vacuum and seeded some instability as the remaining senior members consolidate control to each make their play for power.

Coldstream Peacekeeping Force (CPF) will launch Operation Snowcap, which will see government forces, allied units and foreign contractors launch a series of raids deep in the hilly territory controlled by Raider groups. These black flag raids on various production facilities and camps will further spread disruption and distrust within the Raider factions to bring internal tensions to a head.

For Operation Snowcap you will either join as part of govt (CPF/TF69/Contractor) forces on Blue team or fight for the insurgent/militia/cartel group Wildland Raiders on Red team. The event is a more structured magfed paintball scenario with a significant emphasis on tactics and flexibility on a small team level, as well as personal endurance and adaptability.

Operation Snowcap is private and somewhat experimental. Invitations are extended to those who would both put the most in and get the most out of the event, as well as providing input and feedback before, during and after Operation Snowcap has wrapped up. It is deliberately being structured in a way that allows for adjustments on the fly. This event and player feedback will drive future magfed paintball events both in Victoria and hopefully beyond. If there are players not already invited who would be suited to attend, please raise it with the team.

While the event is magfed-focused, a small number of support (hopper-fed) players will be required. It will be up to each team to allocate these ahead of time.

There will be a strict media policy in place for the event, there likely will not be the usual event photography and any player-recorded media will need review and approval before release on public forums.

This event is fully catered with breakfast, lunch and dinner included, and camping is available for both Friday and Saturday nights. The current timetable has step-off at 11:00AM Saturday 9th August and runs into the evening.
